How do I exclude Quora from Google results?
1. Use the negative search operator
The easiest way to block or remove Quora from Google search is to use the negative ‘-‘ search operator. To do that, add ‘-site:quora.com‘ to the end of the query.
For instance, if you are searching for “best laptop for students in 2025,” the query to exclude Quora from search results becomes “best laptop for students in 2025 -site:quora.com.”

You can similarly remove Reddit from Google search or even other well-known websites that excessively populate the results.
To remove multiple websites at once, add the negative operator for each. For instance, to exclude both Reddit and Quora, the parameter to be appended to the query becomes, “-site:quora.com -site:reddit.com.”
2. Use a dedicated extension
- Go to the Chrome Web Store, click on Add to Chrome to install the uBlacklist extension, and confirm the change.
- Once done, click on Extensions, select uBlacklist, and click on Options.
- Enter *://*.quora.com/* in the text field, and click on Save.
- When you now perform a Google search, results from Quora will be automatically excluded.
With uBlacklist, you can add Quora to the Google search blacklist, and it won’t appear in the search results again. Similarly, you can remove other websites from the search results!
Remember, these methods only remove chosen websites and forums from the search results. So, any that aren’t explicitly excluded will appear anyway since Google continues to promote forums in SERP.
If you don’t want them all, it’s best to switch to a search engine like Bing that prioritizes content with authority over forums. In case you plan to do so, master Bing Search to quickly find accurate and reliable results!
